What the heck are Uggs anyway? To me, they look like a sad hybrid of an extremely ugly pair of hiking boots and moccasins. I have a theory that Uggs actually stand for ugglies but nobody has cracked the secret code yet.
Not only are Uggs a fashion faux pas but they are beyond expensive. I am talking like more than $100 per pair. Why would you pay so much money to look like an abominable snowman? And one that has REALLY chubby legs to be more exact. $100 can buy alot of shoes. I love the boots from Shoppers World that are only $16 or so. You could buy like 6 pairs of those funky boots for the price of ONE ridiculously absurd pair of Uggs.
I don't even want to think about how absurd the girls in my school look after they by a pair of uggs and they are wearing them every day for weeks.
These fashion offenders have definetley crossed the line with their latest "it" style look. The fact the these shoes are being worn in public is bad enough. Do they really have to be worn with sweatpants tucked into them or, god forbid, with miniskirts and tank tops? I admit that I have worn miniskirts, leggings, and boots. But I have never worn anything as atrocious as in public. Uggs are simply too bulky and well, basically repulsive.
I hope you never resort to wearing ugglies because you have been brainwashed into thinking that they are "cool". And by the way, even though Crocs' time has passed, even if they go back into fashion, PLEASE DON'T WEAR THEM (unless you are gardening or at the beach)
